Luxor Website Attests Commitment to Gay and Lesbian Community
LAS VEGAS – Luxor, the landmark Las Vegas resort known as a pioneer in welcoming the gay and lesbian tourist, has reaffirmed its commitment to the LGBT community with the launch of a special section on its website. Visitors to www.luxor.com/lgbt can learn about many of the gay-friendly options available at Luxor and in the city, receive special offers and book every detail of their visit to Luxor.
The special section, also found by clicking on the Special Offers link at the top of the site’s homepage, www.luxor.com, welcomes the gay and lesbian audience with a Pride Package available through September 5, 2008. The package combines unbeatable room rates with valuable incentives, such as spa and dining credits. Other exclusive offers will be available at www.luxor.com/lgbt throughout the year, making the site an ideal resource when booking a Vegas vacation.
In addition, the special LGBT section provides information on gay and lesbian offerings on the Las Vegas Strip. With a simple click on www.luxor.com/lgbt, visitors can learn more about Las Vegas commitment ceremonies, discover delectable dining opportunities and get information on gay- and lesbian-friendly entertainment options in the city.
Luxor Vice President of Marketing Brad Goldberg stated, “Our goal is to make sure the LGBT audience knows they are welcome at Luxor. We want to provide an ideal experience for all our guests and we recognize that not all our guests’ needs are the same.”
The new special section is the most recent way in which Luxor welcomes the LGBT audience. For many years the resort has actively supported the LGBT community through advertisements in publications such as Out, The Out Traveler, Passport Magazine, The Advocate and Gay Travel.com. The resort is TAG approved, a proud partner of IGLTA and also recently hosted a Las Vegas Women’s Empowerment Network event in conjunction with Pride.
